چکیده
A new cultivation system with the chlorophyte Monoraphidium contortum combined a self-sustaining culture of freshwater rotifer Brachionus calyciflorus was applied for Sander lucioperca (L.) larviculture. Survival, morphometrics, as well fatty acid composition pikeperch larvae were analyzed after ten-day feeding period. By using pseudo-green water technique improved aeration and movement at surface, survival rates reached up to 94%, total larval length 8.1 ± 0.3 mm specific growth rate 4.1% day−1 S. lucioperca. The biochemical B. especially its contents in C18 PUFAs suitable n-3/n-6 ratios met nutritional requirements larvae. high abundance highly unsaturated acids (HUFAs) diet appeared be less important first due possible retention essential acids, which originate from yolk sac reserves, adequate levels. Exponential microalgae zooplankton under conditions most effective when stocking M. five days three before adding fish Appropriate timing sufficient live feed density allowed successful integration into We hypothesize that Brachionus-culture minor disruptions during larviculture will improve growth. This is step towards inside recirculated aquaculture systems (RAS) continuous supply within same unit.

Principles of pikeperch (Sander lucioperca) larviculture
Pikeperch (Sander lucioperca) is a species with high nutritional, ecological and commercial values which is endemic in Iran, but its natural stocks are endangered during recent years. Therefore, Iranian Fisheries Organization as the main responsible organization for preservation of aquatic natural stocks of the country planned to stock rehabilitation of this species since 1989. This program had...

This study was carried out to evaluate the effects of dietary phospholipid on the development and rearing performance of pikeperch (Sander lucioperca) larvae. From day 10 post-hatching, fish larvae were weaned onto three isoproteic and isolipidic formulated diets with different phospholipid (PL) levels: 1.4 (PL1), 4.7 (PL5) and 9.5% (PL9) of dry matter, as soybean lecithin. Neutral lipid (NL) w...

Growth performance, food efficiency and body composition of pikeperch (Sander lucioperca) were investigated with 1 or 2 g/kg L-carnitine added to the diet. Control diet did not contain L-carnitine. Two hundred pikeperch fingerlings (1.63 g, mean weight) were stocked in each 1 m3 concrete tank and fed equally 6 meals per day for 6 weeks. Higher increment in body weight (5.92 ± 0.37 g), the ...

OBJECTIVES The objectives of the study were to compare the different doses of clove oil, Propiscin, and tricaine methane sulphonate (MS 222) in relation to water temperature in pikeperch aquaculture. DESIGN For assessment of this experiment 168 fish (10.77 ± 0.59 cm total body length and 7.88 ± 1.74 g body weight) were used. Three different anaesthetic treatments (Propiscin, clove oil and MS ...
